Led by Kwabena Peprah, a team of adventurers, from Ghana has embarked on a journey across continents covering an impressive distance of, over 10,000 kilometers.

According to reports they embarked on a journey that began in Accra, the capital of Ghana. Their expedition took them across countries and European destinations ultimately leading them from one continent to another.

Wanderlust Ghana is a group of travelers with various interests in philanthropy and tourism. Initially, the team had 12 members, including Richard Anim, Kwadwo Saka, Kwame Peprah, Kofi Peprah, and others. However, one member had to drop out because of work commitments in Senegal while two others decided to leave the expedition during their time, in Morocco.

Their adventure began in Accra, weaving through various Ghanaian cities including Aburi, Nsawam, Kumasi, and Sunyani, before crossing into neighboring Cote d'Ivoire. From there, they ventured through Mali, Senegal, Mauritania, and Morocco, finally entering Europe through Spain via a Mediterranean ferry. Their journey showcased the diverse terrains and climates of Africa and Europe.

The expedition involved an array of vehicles, including a Mercedez Benz G-Wagon, a Toyota Landcruiser (V8), a Lexus RX 350, and a Ford F150 Raptor. The team covered an average of 800 to 900 kilometers per day, consuming around 250 liters of fuel daily. Their progress was documented through videos shared on social media, revealing the challenges faced, including brake pad changes and interactions with local authorities.

Nana Afua Serwaa, also known as "Shecanic " brought a perspective, to the team as an auto repair technician with a goal of mastering automobile mechanics in environments and climates.

The expedition not highlighted the team's nature but also aimed to collect funds, for rural primary schools, in Ghana. The explorers drew inspiration from tales of individuals journeying from Europe to countries by road. Chose to undertake the reverse route with the objective of gaining media recognition and garnering backing for their charitable mission.

Kwabena Peprah emphasized their motive for their journey upon reaching the outskirts of Monaco, expressing their enthusiasm for adventure and their desire to assist to underprivileged regions through their charity organisation, EduSpots.

Despite problems, such as a lengthy delay owing to a run-in with Mauritania officials, the team praised several nations along the road, particularly Senegal and Morocco, for their beauty, cleanliness, infrastructure, and nice residents.

As the journey came to a close, the team expected a warm welcome in London, where they planned to meet with the Ghanaian community and the Ghana High Commission to further their charitable efforts.

Wanderlust Ghana's road trip from Accra to London is an amazing example of adventure, generosity, and cross-cultural engagement, with this epic journey standing as a monument to human persistence and a desire to make a positive difference.
